Automated, Vacuum Impregnation System for Sale

 

 

High throughput, automated vacuum impregnation system for porosity sealing of castings

was built in 1989 for Honda. Original design was for engine cylinder blocks/heads and

later the equipment was used for transmission cases and converter housings. Machine

was in operation in January of 2008 before disassembly by professional machinery

mover, Atlas Industrial Contractors (614) 841-4500, who can assist with assembly or

completely assemble and start-up system.

 

Twin process tanks (55” diameter) utilizing the dry vacuum atmospheric pressure process.

   2 independent sealant storage tanks.

Cooling jackets for circulation of chilled water/glycol.

 Motivair air-cooled chiller model MPC-A1200 chiller.

 2 Busch RA 1000 pumps with 40hp motors.

2 hot water cure tanks

100 KW elements in each tank.

 

Automated overhead transporter

 

Output is 1 basket/rack every 5 minutes.

 

Process baskets/racks

22 baskets, approximately 34” x 34” x 37.5” tall.

10 part racks.

 

Maximum load of 600 pounds for parts and basket/rack combined--approx. 150#

for current basket/rack and 450# for parts load.

 

All tanks, baskets/racks and sealant piping are of stainless steel material

 

Approximate overall size is 62’L x 24’W x 18’H

 

PLC (Mitsubishi A3A) was recently updated

 

Operating and instruction manual, parts list, maintenance schedule log,

electrical/pneumatic/mechanical drawings and component manuals.
